LimeSurvey. Ever heard of it? Maybe. Maybe not.
Well, right now, I can confidently say it’s the leader in open-source surveys. Hands down.
Very easy, and simple, user interface (“UI”). Easy to set up conditions and best of all, it’s free.
I’ve looked into many online survey formats. Some are cheezy (like survey monkey), some are light-weight (like Wufoo) and the rest are expensive. LimeSurvey is the ideal option.
Still, like many open-source platforms, it’s not for the techno-shy. You’ll need to know how to install it on your server, or be willing to invest time in launching it. Of course, if you’ve used an open-source platform before, limesurvey will be a beautiful time investment.
