Great presentation! As a startup bootstrapper, I’ve seen and recently experienced the roller coaster that is underdiversification. A full-time job often prevents adequate diversification IF you don’t plan well, i.e. find new income streams while you’re still floating in others. I’ve struggled, but I’m doing a better job at planning and enjoying fewer valleys and more, if not higher, peaks.

I’m going to take a look at a couple of the project management tools that I wasn’t familiar with.

good deck… 2009 will require far more bootstrapping and far more diversification… an additional benefit/approach to bootstrapping is to find consulting gigs that are in the area of interest of your startup… its a great way to keep all efforts focused on one major goal/area…
