Russian Roulette

As an addendum to my post on luck, one of our readers, Marc Dangeard, CEO of Entrepreneur Commons, related another analogy on luck and entrepreneurship:

One related image I like is the one of the Russian roulette player. 1 bullet in the gun:

  • you play once and you win
  • you play twice and you win
  • you play three times and you win

By now, you are convinced you know how to play, you are a pro.
But we all know where the Russian roulette game ends…

Not to say that being an entrepreneur is like playing the Russian roulette, but you have to remain humble when you have success.

Scott, this is a great video, thank you for the find.
Clearly the life of a serial entrepreneur can have its ups and downs, we should always remain cool when going into a new business, because things are never the same twice…
