Hi, I'm a PC
So I got the blue screen of death last night. Yep, the one where you can’t do anything. You just sit there and pray to God that you can get your files out.
How did it happen? I’m guessing it was due to overheating. I carry my laptop with me in my leather briefcase. It’s pretty hot in their I’m guessing. I don’t know though, I’ve never worn black leather.
Regardless, it’s gone (as of right now). It’s not frustrating, it’s just annoying. The amount of time I now need to spend fixing the problem is time I could spend enjoying life. Life is short. We all know it. And, as a PC owner, about 10% of my life is spent fixing PC problems. It feels like there’s always 17 steps PC owners have to go through to fix stuff.
Bad? It depends on how you envision life. I just don’t enjoy fixing problems that shouldn’t be problems in the first place.
So, lately I’ve been seriously considering picking up a mac book. I’ve had thoughts on this for a while. And after using my iPhone, it’s become clear that Apple is a revolutionary company. So simple, yet so profoundly stylish! I love it.
So my journey today shall involve tackling the 17 steps every PC owner goes through to get their PC to work.
A French dignitary once said, “The journey is nothing; it is only the first step that is difficult.”
I’m sorry Frenchie, but after 20 years using PCs, I can certainly say you’re wrong.
