Conclusion
If you are looking for a great site to connect with your neighbors or promote your business locally, TownSync is the place for you.
It seems like everyone and their mother is trying to use the internet to take promote local business and compete with Yelp. I wouldn’t put TownSync in that same category because it has some useful features like a social calendar for promoting events around the town. It is only useful if a lot of people are using it, so either it will catch on like craigslist or will need to have a genius marketing plan. It has some great potential but they might be trying to reinvent the wheel on this one. What if you could integrate your local Craigslist, Yelp, and Facebook network into one site? Now that would be awesome.

I think this could be brilliant. But, we do need people to start building their towns. I am part of the Burlington, VT community which is starting to grow. check out our town.
Really liking this site so far. I’ve been posting events in Brooklyn, NY. Check out our community so far! Zip-Code 11211
